Elite Cycle Detailing is a mobile bicycle cleaning and detailing business offering a range of services including, but not limited to, standard cleans, deep cleans, paint protection, drivetrain detailing, and polishing. All services are carried out at the customer’s location unless otherwise agreed.
Terms & Conditions - the basics
1. Bookings and Payments
- Bookings can be made online via our website www.elitecycledetailing.com or through direct contact.
- All services must be paid for in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- We accept bank transfer and cash payment methods as specified on the website.
- Prices are inclusive of travel within a specified radius. An additional travel fee may apply outside of this zone and will be disclosed prior to confirmation.
3. Cancellations and Rescheduling
- You may cancel or reschedule a booking up to 24 hours before the appointment time with no charge.
- Cancellations within 24 hours or failure to be present at the time of appointment may incur a 50% charge of the booked service total.
- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to weather conditions, staff illness, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will offer an alternative date or a full refund.
4. Customer Responsibilities
- The customer must ensure there is a safe and suitable working space with adequate access to water (if required).
- The bike must be available and accessible at the booked time. If we are unable to carry out the service due to inaccessibility, the above cancellation terms may apply.
- Any special requests or issues (e.g., delicate components, vintage paintwork) must be made known at the time of booking.
5. Liability and Damage
- While we take the utmost care in handling all bicycles, Elite Cycle Detailing accepts no liability for pre-existing damage, wear, or mechanical faults.
- We are not liable for any consequential loss arising from the use of our services.
- If any damage is proven to be caused directly by our negligence during the service, we will offer a repair or replacement up to the value of the damage, subject to fair assessment. We have full public liability insurance cover.
6. Satisfaction Guarantee
- If you are not satisfied with the service provided, please contact us within 24 hours of your appointment.
- We will aim to resolve the issue promptly, either through a re-clean, a partial refund, or other means at our discretion.
7. Weather Policy
- As a mobile service, weather conditions can affect our ability to complete a job.
- In cases of heavy rain, snow, or unsafe conditions, we may reschedule your appointment at no extra cost.
8. Photography and Promotion
- With your permission, we may take before-and-after photographs of your bike to showcase on our social media or website.
- No personal information will be shared without consent.
9. Gift Vouchers and Promotions
- Promotional offers and gift vouchers are non-refundable and valid for a specific period as stated at the time of issue.
- Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and must be used in one transaction unless otherwise specified.
10. Amendments to Terms
- We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective from the date of publication on our website.
